When installing and removing the extrusion container from the aluminum extrusion press, or when inspecting the induction heater and checking the wear and assembly of the mechanical parts of the extrusion container, it is necessary to transport the extrusion container.
When transported in a horizontal position, the extrusion container of high-power aluminum extrusion machines are usually transported directly with the hooks of double-support beam cranes. When transporting the extrusion container with a lifting device in a vertical position, a special fixture should be designed. In any case, it is not allowed to use temporary devices such as steel rods, studs, etc. to lift and transport the extrusion container. When turning the extrusioncontainer from a horizontal position to a vertical position, for large-tonnage aluminum extrusion presses, A dedicated flip device is used.
In order to shorten the non-working time, sometimes relying on the force of the low pressure piston directly on the aluminum extrusion machine, the extrusion shaft is moved, and the conical inner sleeve is pressed into the extrusion container. This is usually done with an intermediate conversion device suspended from the crane hitch. The conversion device is provided with a groove for fixing the extruding shaft, the groove prevents the extruding shaft from sliding down the conversion device, and the conversion device is abutted on the inner sleeve of the extruding cylinder.
However, it should be noted that before the extrusion container is withdrawn, the use of thecontainer should be concluded and recorded on the tool card; when cooling the lining with water, it is strictly forbidden to pour water on the heater and prevent the cooling water from going around. splash; before the working inner sleeve is pressed into the extrusion container, the dimensions of each part should be measured, the appearance and assembly should be checked and recorded on the card, and the operation procedures and process specifications of the pressing and pressing should be strictly controlled, such as heating temperature and time, cooling intensity, press-in and press-out force, etc. The extrusion barrel of the aluminum extrusion machine must be heated to a certain temperature before use. The furnace temperature is generally not more than 450%. The heating speed from the cold state to 450 °C should not be too fast. Generally, it can be controlled within 8-24 hours. It mainly depends on the size of the extrusion cylinder and the heating method. Under normal circumstances, the working inner sleeve of the extrusion container must be washed or inspected every 1-2 months. In order to speed up the etching speed, steam etching can be used. Magnesium alloy extrusion container can be etched and washed with 10%-15% nitric acid solution; aluminum alloy extrusion container can be etched and washed with 20%-25% sodium hydroxide solution.
